Did you experience any issues with the 6spd while you had it? Was there anything you did not like about the MR? I'm looking to sell my built VIII and maybe pick up an 06 GSR SSL but am tempted by the MR or the SE.

What are your thoughts on the other models?

 

I haven't tried out other models other then the MR. But if you are planning to make big numbers then I would stay sway from the MR as I been reading its tranny can't handle it. Haven't had any issues with my tranny so hoping to find one soon, hopefully by this week.

Omg!!!

 

Not only is the 6 spd incapable of handling modded power, it is sometimes incapable of handling bone stock power levels. 4th gear apparently overheats on road courses.

Compare that to the 5 spds which are handling 500 tq strokers on every corner.
