Need fuel pressure regulator ASAP to borrow...

Hey everyone, would anyone be willing to lend me a STOCK FPR for me to test on my 2005 Evo gsr. I've done everything so far except that to try to solve why it's running lean. Before I go out and buy a new one I'd like to know for sure that this is why it's running lean.

Around 3500-4000rpm the car runs lean and boost drops from 20 to around 5psi. I've bypassed the MBC and ran straight turbo/wastegate with the solenoid disabled, in the tune the cutoff is higher anyways then this so it shouldn't kick in.

I think the problem is either this FPR or a timing issue with the car. I'd like to start testing both asap. If anyone can help me out gimme a call 604-817-3585 Thanks everyone. I'm in Vancouver staying at the Sutton hotel and I'm willing to drive wherever to get this done today til saturday.

I've so far:
Checked the tune
Boost
Wastegate
Plugs
Boost Leaks
Compression is fine
Fuel pump ( two of them/walbros)
Boost controller
Injector duty is good

Parin per our convo last night, do the following:

1.) Check base timing on the car, might have jumped a tooth or two.

2.) Change MBC out, since you bypassed the MBC and were able to hold wastegate boost without taper to 5psi, and WITH the MBC you were tapering to 5psi points to a bad MBC (strange, but process of elimination states so especially since you tested the wastegate directly).

3.) Try a different FPR, never seen one go bad on a car with 30k miles, but the FP has been changed, my datalogs show IDC % is fine for injectors -and the fact they've never been replaced negates any reason to think they were improperly installed.

4.) Did you get a chance to check the condition of the motor? You said boost leak test was fine, how was the Compression/Leakdown numbers?

Car should NOT be running that lean and dropping boost that low, I'm looking at the map that's on the car and things do not coincide with where the figures should be. Give me a call once you have everything complete.
