..a dealership is charging me 590 taxes in for the type D service..this includes the valve "inspection" not the actual "adjustment" if needed...im more focused on the valve adjustment thing..i think my car needs this...anyone have more than 50K km on their evo? have you performed this service yet? i just dont see why something that will take 2-3 hours is going to cost me close to 600?

 

your driving an EVO they milk the EVO owners dry. Oil change is overly expensive at dealerships and over charge for tire rotation and what not. Then again you can specifically ask for that valve checkup only if your confident that is the only thing you think it needs. I mean, sometimes inspection is a load of crock esp for exterior things like brake pad wear etc..
