There's an EVO listed in the Buy & Sell with a price of $63.995 - but the description makes it sound like it's on display only - but then why put a price on it? I've e-mailed them to ask if this is for real and can someone buy it legally?!

If you can buy this legally - how? Is it some form of specialised import? At $30,000 in the states for a new one (roughly $40,000 CDN) - why the hell is this $64K?!

 

They told me 58K. Yes it has been legalized or so they claim.

 

Great! - if they can make it legal - then so can someone else - how they managed to do it is something we would all like to know.

From what I have read - it's just the fender that's the problem.

 

not the fender, the bumper....it won't pass the 5mph crash test here in Canada, only the 3mph test in the US...plus no DRL

 

What they prob. did was create a mold N made the bumper compat. with the 5mph test.

And even if it wasn't "legal", if it's already on the countries soil, how many cops would actually know its not "legal"
