Evo 9 GSR, registered as such on the papers, 2m/500/300 for 88/month, but that's because of my nice discount I get since I'm paying it in 1 lump sum for the whole year.

i love quebec insurance rates.

i remember when i was 19 (2003), and i bought my 94 Acura Integra for $9000, and paid 4500$ a year for insurance in Ontario. While my friend who was on course with me had his car registered and insured in quebec. he had a brand new Camero SS insured for like 1500$ a year. what a load of horse**** lol

Mine is registered as a Lancer. I might go in to autoplan and figure it out, but they have my original title and it clearly indicates that it's an evolution.

So I went into the autoplan, and she said it's all good. Won't be any problems.

I will check with my insurance company tomorrow and let you know.

As of information

From Montreal, Quebec.

Lets hope it's registered as a stock lancer.

I agree, insurance rates are ridiculous in Ontario compared to Quebec.

If you want insurance in Ontario get ready to bend over and take it in the ***!

try www.rpbassurances.com

If you have a better than normal driving record, this should cost peanuts... in Québec at least.

Been quoted 1500$ for that company and with AXA I get 792 minus 100 dollar (for 2 years contract) and minus 15% since I have another car, so that's 52 a month.

what the eff is wrong with the icbc/autoplan system?

some registered as regular lancer, some are evolution.

do we have an autoplan insurance guy here? can anyone explain? are the rates or premiums the same?

i will get at the bottom of this, at least before i pay my annual dues in feb.

I think I am doing not too bad,

Evo X , 500/500, $2,000,000 and in Quebec the no fault deal. I am paying $875 + tax for the year.
I guess 43 years old and a decent record helps.

Poloturbo- didnt think I would see you on this forum.

note that its registered as a 05 mitsu lancer, not an evo.
