i sat into a 2010 MR in on of the local dealership.

it doesnt have a wing.

i asked one of the salesman. he said its an accessory. you pay more money to get it.

is this true?

 

congrats. anyone else seeing more evos on the road anymore? not as rare as a year ago....

 

In Calgary I still rarely see any. Still see a ton of the new STI's compared to evo x's. It seems like the new STI's are selling better then the evo x's.

 

well bumper laws for evo 8/9 changed in july 2008. post the change of laws, you should see more evo 8/9's. as for the x's they started selling it in 2008? STI has been available to us canadians for the longest time but not the evos. we should see more and more come in as the time goes by....

i really enjoyed the rare factor of it. but i will always love my 8 even though its as common as the STI's later down the road.

 

Yeah like I said I see more of the newer STI's (hatch 2008+) more then the evo x's. Which came out around the same time. I think it might have to do with practicality. I know a ton of people that went with the newer STI's just because of the lack of trunk on the evo x's.

 

Got a call from the dealership today, going to pick up my EVO tomorrow afternoon

I saw the thread about a TLC meet on the 17th but I can't make it because I'm working. Hopefully I'll see some of you out on the streets.
