Evo/Ralliart owners.. input wanted!
So, I have the transfer oil change upcoming.. wondering what you guys did, how much it costed, where you did it? If you stuck to OEM oils.
Evo 9 here but...
i use Amsoil Severe gear 75W90 for my transfer case. why? many people on this forum swears by it and i wanted to try something different than the stock diaqueen fluids.
i dont have any problems with my t-case or anything, but die hard high hp guys on the forums here swears by it for extra protection.
i personally run Amsoil Severe Gear for my T-case, Amsoil gear lube for my transmission, and Redline 75w-90 for my rear differential.
its a good thing you asked, it seems there are wrong oils to put into your car. the previous owner of my car had put redline shockproof into my rear diff causing it to bind up and vibrate when turning at low speed.
