Launching

I'm having trouble launching at high revs.
Whats the highest anyone rev up to with out burning their tires?
Plus each time I burn my tires, it smells like a dead animal man... not like the normal burning rubber, but some friggin dead animal ...
Has anyone installed Tien or Eibach springs on their OZ?
if so... has the ride changed drastically?

My rubber is getting a bit bald, so right now I can't rev it up more than 2.3k.

If you're getting that smell, you're probably burning your clutch.

The best way to learn is to make mistakes. The more you'll try it out, the better you'll be at it

yeah, it is hard to launch the lancer. i suggest filling your motor mounts or buying the deyeme (sp?) mounts. Check this out:

Clutch smell is gross, but you do get used to it!
