Yep after 2 days of waiting my Evo 8 wing is finally installed on my OZ. All I have to say is WOW. Driving around with this thing get's you so many more looks! In the 2 hours I was driving around with it, a guy asked me if I was driving an Evo when we were parked at a set of street lights. I look at him and say "What do you think?" lol..... and he turns around and just says "oh shiiiiiiiit" to his car full of buddies.
Man this thing gives so much more of an aggressive look to the car and I wouldn't of put anyother wing on my car but this one.
The first thing I did when I got home was debagge the rest of my trunk (the big ugly LANCER) so now I only have the on my trunk, also I think it's gonna look sick once I can afford to get those TYC Carbon Fiber tail lights.
I know it costs an arm and a leg to pay for one, but it's worth every penny once you see it on the car (espicially yellow since its so bright )
I would suggest this wing to any Lancer enthusiast out there! Now that the wing is on, gotta start saving up for the next project!

SRY I have no pics.... I don't have a digicam and neither to any of my friends who live around me. I plan on getting one around Christmas time, so ill have some up around then.

I don't want to sound like a hatr, but why would you want respect from people who don't even know what kind of car you are driving? Take it for what it is worth, if you like the look, good for you! Don't try to impress other people. Just my .02

Its a wing, just because someone puts a wing on the car
doesn't mean he's sayin its an evo.
it looks better on the car... I wouldn't mind getting one...
it does look more aggresive... and if other people are to dumb
to figure out that it ain't an evo then thats their own problem.

 

When did I say I was passing my car off as an Evo? I never once said it was an evo and never will. I just think it's funny that ppl think it's a car that it's not. If you want to go put an Evo VIII badge on your car then go right ahead Spool, me I would never do it.

Also I would never street race, Ive already lost a car due to some young punk trying to show off in his sister's car. Im just glad that I was able to afford such a nice car after that and driving around in a yellow car you wouldn't believe how many ppl try and street race, but I try not to go over 10km/h or 15km/h on the highway

good for this guy installing a wing, its just kinda funny to install an evo 8 instead of looking for the 7's because well its what goes on that body style and it would look much more impressive and later u can even make the oz faster. but in the end I will still pass u with my evo hahah

 

actually I like the 8 better because of the carbon fiber, second good for you if u have an Evo, we don't get them up here. Maybe your not 18 and paying for school/car/insurance.....
and u act like ur Evo is soooo fast... me and my dad have been working on muscle cars since I was born and when we are finished mine it blow will blow u away like nothing.

yea no need for any hatred on this thread.....but just to let you know mitsubishi 03 they do make carbon fiber evolution VII spoilers and also ones that just have the carbon fiber middle deck (like mine ) but lets just cool it down a little guys. i'm sure the spoiler looks great i cant wait to see some pics, i have never seen it on a yellow lancer before. congrats-

Ya I was really considering getting the 7... but where I bought my Lancer, they have a supped up ES, with this wing, rims, lowered and sum other stuff..... Ever since I saw it on that car I knew it was the one that I wanted on mine
