Debating driving my Evo IX to Toronto

So money has become tight and I don't think I can afford to rent a vehicle to go. I was debating driving my Evo but my wife and mother think its crazy and my mechanic said the salt will kill the car. I don't think one winter in Toronto will kill the car but my wife is convinced my car will get stolen.

I know IX's are still a little rare there but what do you guys think.

Uhm... I really don't think there's any issues with driving your EVO IX to Toronto. Anything can happen... but it's not like we have a pandemic here of EVO IX's being stolen. And as for salt... our roads are still dry right now.

When are you thinking about coming up? And how long are you gonna stay?

You can get a monthly car wash pass at a nearby gas station. It's allows you to use it once per day for the whole month. Just remember to pick the car wash that washes underneath the vehicle.

As for car theives, it depends on the area..

Most of the people here in Toronto will be driving their X in the winter so I don't think it would be a matter!!

The chances of someone stealing your EVO IX in Canada are slim IMO. I mean how many are in the Toronto area, 5-8 at the most? If someone was to steal an Evo IX or EVO VIII for that matter it would be tracked down rather quickly.

Thieves tend to steal more common cars that attract less attention for the most part. And an EVO 8 or 9 is neither of those. Also you have an OEM ignition disabler lol :P
