2011 Ralliart/ Evo Packages

Now i know in the USA they already know what they are getting... but in Canada i haven't been able to find anything on Google or the Mitsu site.

If someone gets a hold of it, or know the official packages and prices, please post it all up in here!

I guess you haven't heard the bad news in Canada. I've spoken to a few different local dealerships and the future of the Evolution line in Canada could be done. From what they told me, the demand just isn't there and not many people are paying the full price for these things. It's a little too risky for each dealership to order them in only to sell them a year later at a high discount and 0% financing which is pretty much what they have been doing since 2008.

Adding to the insult, the 2011 STI was priced $3k less than what they cost for the 08/10 models and has put a lot of pressure on Mitsu Canada to stay competitive against Subaru. Mind you, the new STI currently has waitlist filled even at 5.9% financing. Price comparison in Canada between the top model STI is $43k and in Mitsu world, that same price only gets you a base GSR.

In a nutshell, mitsu Canada doesn't care about a car that barely sells especially when they've launched a quite suscessful RVR line that actually appeals to the general crowd. As grim as things may seem, the managers told me that the absolute earliest you'll get any information good or bad will be heard in mid December. More likely than not, it's going to be the sad news.

Either pick up any remaining 2010's for an awesome price or import one from the states! There's no point waiting for a 2011 Evo in Canada as it'll still be priced sky high even IF they do choose to continue with it here.

I'd take that with a grain of salt. Dealers will do whatever it takes to sell what they have available. In Oct 2009, I was told from a Mitsu dealer that 2010's were not coming to Canada, and "I better buy the 2009 they had right away."

And then lied to again, prior to buying my 2010, by a different mitsu dealer when I was told there was a production hold. "No more 2010's are being made, and I better pickup the one they have right away." Next day, I called Mitus Canada.. there was no production hold, and never was for 2010. I factory ordered mine the next week from a different dealer.

I also noticed that Mitsu Canada didnt' update their website until end of Jan last year. I'm guessing it will be like that again this year.

Ah I guess that's possible, but I went in only for a chat as there's nothing to sell me on. Either way, I guess we'll wait and see!

Just got the 2011 Canadian Ralliart price sheet:

31,798.00 MSRP

Options:

Premium Package ($4200.00)- Recaro seats w/ suede cloth/leather seats, power glass sunroof, 710W Rockford Fosgate 9 speaker system and 10" sub with DSP, 6 CD and MP3 in dash head unit, Sirius satellite radio, FAST key entry system, auto rain sensing wipers, Aluminum pedals, leather wrapped parking brake handle, HID headlights

Prices do not include shipping and PDI.

If you notice, there is no longer any in dash nav screen. To be honest, for the 2.3k savings over last year's premium package, i think its a great idea.

Looks like i'll be getting a fully loaded WW or TB Ralliart come spring

I asked about the 2011 Evo X (The sales guy was brutally honest... no BS which i loved) and he said to wait until December or January since there are still 2010 Evo Xs stocked up in Montreal they need to clear out.

He also said APR rates should start dropping come the next 2 months and to buy then.

Any updates on 2011 evo pricing and packages? Checked the mitsu canada site, still showing 2010s.

I noticed that too. Maybe there's something to the rumors about 2011's coming to canada??

I'd like to know what the price will be if they do... considering an STI is $37,995 which has about the same options as the base GSR... but it's $4000 less! And the fully loaded STI with sunroof, NAV and HIDs is $41,595... a few hundred under the base GSR. Giving these prices, I wonder if the EVO can even afford to come to Canada.

LOL what did I tell you last year From what I've gathered, they've allowed dealerships to preoder 2011's but they haven't given any further details as to trims and what not and should be here by March or later depending on how much left over 2010 inventory they have. Expect NO changes to the model line up. What you see in 2010 will most likely be what you get in 2011 models IF they decide to sell them. It's sad to see the first Canadian Evo model sell so poorly since it's introduction. I blame it on the sky high price!

Went Richmond Hill dealer and they said all 2010 evos are sold already, might have some left in Alberta. They don't have pricing on 2011s yet... Sucks that US offers different trims and packages at a lower price. A GSR with SS can be bought for $34-35k, added the import fee is still around $6-7k cheaper given todays dollar. Is living without a warranty worth it for that price saving?

Well, looks like the rumor that I heard is worse than I thought. With already a shortage of Evo replacement parts nationally and still no 2011's in sight, just heard the news that the Evo X will be the last line! I bet they've already halted production and all the new ones you see now are what you get

As to what people are saying here about the STI... its true. Heck, for the price of a RA w/ Premium package your in base STI territory.

I may go to Subaru for my next ride. I love Mitsu, but the canning of the Evo, and the high price to purchase makes it unappealing the more i look at it. i'll take 37k instead of 41k.

I LOVE the 2011 4 door STI sedan looks
