Who has tested the Ralliart in winter conditions?

What Kind of tires are you using?

We've got some snow here. I have the factory tires on the car. Braking is quite good, but starting can be a different story. You really have to take it easy on the gas. We had some pretty icy corners and I tried some out at pretty good speeds without much problem. I've got a 94 Colt and it starts better then the Lancer, but the Lancer brakes and corners better in the snow.

My Ralliart Sportback is wearing Kumho KW-17 snow tires in the OEM size (205/50HR16). I wanted 195/60R15 but the dealer misinformed me about availability of steelies so I had to go with OEM size on the factory alloys. In fact, 15" steelies from an '03 Galant will fit just fine. So will 16" steelies from the Outlander...

The Kumhos are really good in anything but deep snow - I guess they're a bit too wide for that.

These tires are a good deal from TireTrends - about $127 each + shipping & GST.

Since it's January...everyone with a Ralliart in Canada probably can tell you how the Ralliart handles in the snow.......My Ralliart isn't bad and the handling is decent. Snow tires would definitely be better but........in the past couple of years we only have one or two bad snow falls......that's just my 2 cents
