Well finally i_love_spool is finally gone, he was just bringing negitivity 2 this board, and basically the whole forum.

Well, I think it had to do with some arguments in the Off-Topic board. I'm not sure. Personally, I never met the guy, nor did I ever have a problem with him, so I have no real comment on him being banned. But then again, I post rarely now...

 

Banning used to take place automatically once you had accumulated 4 warnings. Now after 4 warnings, your account goes into timeout where your can't post for a period of time until the timeout is lifted, however banning can still be enforced if necessary.

i_love_spool earned his 4 warnings under the old system. His account being made inactive is not for any one thing he did, but an accumulation of forum rule infractions such as insulting other members, etc. Unfortunately he received half his warnings on the same day. If he wants to come back I personally don't have a problem with it, however some of the other moderators may not feel the same way as he has been responsible for causing them headaches and work in their forums.
