No sweat dude, just bustin yer chops. I know what you mean about being ill-equipped at first. When I bought mine, they had no computers in their trailer and Plat's service dept was at Shaganappi Chev-Olds. I ended up printing stuff off the net from home, and bringing it in to them... I had to wait about 2 months for the block heater to come in.. finally got it in Dec of 2002.

How many clicks on yours now? Damnit, mine'll be outa warranty in another month or two!

Honest guys I am working on it. So far all I have managed to get is a cat-back system for the lancers from magna flow. Nice looking mandreal system. Aem and Ingen still have no listing(last time I looked ) for cold air intakes or even shorts.I am trying to get it together but so far no big names in Canada. I would love to get the RRM line but freight and brokerage are a killer. Thanks Mark

When you get something shipped from the states just get the company to put warrenty replacement on the box because legally they cannot charge you brokerage on an item you have already purchase and is being replaced. I have been doing this for years for my eclipse and i only paid brokerage once (warrenty replacement wasnet believeable on a body kit )

Anybody hear anything from Hyatt? Thats the place i go to. Just figured if i got the parts installed at my dealer it would be covered under warranty and i wouldn't have to deal with the whole customs and crap that so many people who got rmr and rrm parts are talking about.

I heard a while ago that they were "close" to working out something with ralliart to bring in some suspension and other basic modification goodies....

I haven't been to the dealership in forever so who knows...

I got mine at Platinum.. I think the fat *** ***** salesman was an ***... all about ripping people off.. service sucked ***... picked my car up with mud in the speaker grill.... overall I'm happy with the product.. just pissed at the numb nuts working over there.

Picked up Michellin alpine winter tires for a couple hundred at Fountain Tire. car drives good in the winter.

Speed Tech on 32ave N.E. carries AEM and Injen intakes for our cars. ask for Alan or Lance they'll give you a good price.

Thanks for the tip about Speed Tech...

BUT, I have to take issue with the service comments. Maybe your experience was a tempoarary aberation, but I have to say that I have had nothing but topnotch service every time I go there. The general manager calls me by name, the parts manager is always prompt returning my calls/faxes for parts (for the Montero, not the Lancer), the service I had done on the Lancer was professional.

That's my experience, anyways.

PHIL

I guess the service really depends on if your laying 40G's for a SUV or a measly 20G's on a econ box

well, you can buy it strait from mitsubishi, but they will charge you out the *** for it. Over $2000 is what they told me.

Have you seen any body kits for the lancer yet?? it wouldn't cost all that much more just to get a full kit.

if you have your hart set on the oz kit I recomend buying one off the forums here, but make sure the guy you buy it off has a good rating. I got stiffed on here once.

I think rrm or rmr makes a clone of the oz kit too, might want to check them out.
