Mitsubishi Warranty

Anyone having problems with Mitsubishi and their warranty? There's so much complaining in the US about the EVO warranty, so just curious if there's any warranty complaints for Canadian Mitsubishi vehicles?

actually yes for one thing....every time i take my car to a touchless carwash and sometimes after a hard rain i get water in my trunk...i have taken into the dealer a couple times and they say there is nothing wrong with the weatherstripping or anything else that would cause it and that it isn't designed for high pressure washes...i'm pretty pissed about it since it did it one time and then froze overnight

i've asked West Side Mitsubishi in Edmonton, they told me that whatever i install is my responsibility..so i'm ASSUMING that as long as its stock, they will cover it..but then its kinda broad the way they put it..it works though..kinda like "be responsible for what you do"..

Don't know yet, but I will pretty soon. I gotta bring it in for a slipping tranny It slips almost every time in reach 1800rpms no matter what gear I'm in.

Giving gas (not even nailling it), engine revs, cars bugs looses a bit of speed then gets back on track.

And no... I'm no trying to take the fifth gear at 20 km/h.

I used to be able to drive at 40 km/h in 4th gear. Now sometime I can, sometime I can't the car start buggin, so I gotta downshift bring the rpm higher, got back in 4th, and keep the rpm higher than 2000.

I assume it's a slipping tranny, but there might be other explanations. Old oil, shot clutch, I dunno

my tranny slips a very tiny bit too, but not to the extent you're talking about and only when it's really cold outside...after the tranny warms up (about 5 min) it's fine again

Depends on how severe the problem is, and what needs to be replaced to get it fixed. Recalls only happen for safety issues or manufacturing defects, what'd probably happen is a TSB would get issued, letting people know that this is a fairly common problem, so that service guys would be able to fix it easier, and warn you guys on how not to get it.
