ok i live in the eastern town ships, about 1 hour outside of montreal and i want to go to this julep meet. But i dont know where that place is. Are there any others in the same boat as me? if so maybe we can have a meet closer to montreal or the townships.

 

The Julep is the big orange spherical building on Decarie just south of Metropolitan (40), almost at Jean-Talon street.. Would you like more precise directions? Just PM me, let me know where you're at.. you could come on the island from highway 10 -> Champlain Bridge and it would be quite easy from there.

Oh, and talking about the friday meet, it's scheduled for friday next week, not this coming friday, right? (April 30th)

i have to admit that i'm very glad that i came tonight cuz i got to see the Evo. Mr. Kayaalp's evo. nice as hell.

i guess tonight's meet was a success, although i forgot that friday night was busy, especially with today's nice weather.

on devrait faire des meets plusieurs fois cet ete. je pense d'y aller a cooksville pour le big Meet.

it was nice seeing/meeting u all again.

 

Yes, I'm very happy I went too.. Next time, we might be able to bribe Mr. Kayaalp totake us for a ride in his Evo

I think I was the only one with a stock lancer.. I'll have to do something about it before the next meet...

It was nice meeting you guys. We'll have to do it again sometime. I had to leave a little early Friday so I could get to Sanair on Saturday for some lapping with the vintage racing guys. It was fun to throw the Evo around some of those turns. If you guys thought the Evo was dirty Friday, you sould see it now.

Highlights included dicing with a Porsche GT-3 (he passed me ), passing the chief instructor of the Audi club in his high-modified Quattro (r-compounds, racing pads, stripped out, full cage, etc.), lapping my buddy in his 996 Carrera 4, and passing all the slow-*** Audi S4's like they were standing still. One of the S4's lost a wheel in turn 3! Ouch...

did anyone take picks of the montreal meet? did it happen, i was suppos to but i forgot about the whole thing
