Club Dreams

I've been reading the board for the past few days. And I notice the division amongst the crowd. One wants to have their own as a single entity, another group wants to be like a family.

From my opinion, why not just combine all the enthusiast together. Variety is great, it doesn't matter if you're driving a LANCER, ECLIPSE, GALANT EAGLE TALONS etc. Before Mitsu came to Canada, there are groups already existing such as the DODGE STEATLTHS clubs (also known as the 3000GT cars) CLUB DSM (mainly EAGLE TALONS w/c I used to be with and still is. I still see these guys sometimes during Thursdays meet).

I could just imagine a picture perfect for group meet or show and shine meet an awesome sight having these unique cars drive and pose together.

I AM EMC and I love all MITSUS. Driven and owned the Lancers from '79 - 95 way back when they still had the SIRUS engines, Driven and owned an 89 GALANT (4g63 NT) here in Canada and loved it. And now found my new toy....2003 GALANT ESV6. It may not be the VR4 dream car....but hell its a MITSU BADGE!

This is just my opinion. LOVE THE MITSUS LIVE W/ THE MITSUS

sure, variety is great man. but if we combine all mitsu's theres gonna be WAY too many ppl.

and then Lancer's will lose their distinction.

the way i see it, there's way too many eclipses out there. keeping it pro-lancer will keep the number small (not too small) and manageable. and besides, lancers are a new breed in canada.

not to mention that the other mitsu's already have their own clubs whereas we don't...and this club started on a lancer forum for a reason....but that's not saying we aren't open to the other cars, cuz we don't mind, just saying that the intention of this club from the onset was to be a lancer club....this isn't to say that other cars can't come to the meets or events though...i mean, i go to the vw meets every once in a while with my buddies to shoot the shyte

The Mitsu Club of Canada.....will cater to all Mitsu's but will branch out into sub divisions......kinda like this site.... it will have a general discussion for all mitsu's ....but then us Lancer owner's will have our own place to chat...... You have to remember also....what we are introducing and what were trying to do with it.... You were at the last meet....and had a taste of what's next to come......

Thats cool!!! I apologize for having an impression that the LANCERS would like to be left alone by themselves. But yah, i'd like to hang and shoot the shyte together LANCER/ ECLIPSE/TALON etc.

By the way, anyone knows where to get not so ridiculously priced EVO type hoods? I got priced for like $1000!!! If thats even correct?

some vendor is selling evo style cf hoods for CHEAP right now...check out the vendor section

i appreciate what you guys are trying to do, but realize that this is a massive undertaking and probably just TOO big for all to fly under a single banner that's all...i mean, where are you going to hold meets when there are over 1000 members?? rent a hangar at the airport or something?

If we need a larger venue to have the meets we will get it...... lets just hope it gets that big...... I see successful meets in the US with those kind of numbers......Hopefully we can do the same in the future.....

I agree T.O. I look forward to experience those kind of big mitsu meets. An example would be like in GA mitsu!.
