Trade In value

I have a 2003 OZ Rally with only 27Km

All the standard options AC,PW, PL etc along with JDM grill, JVC MP3 Player, K&N drop in filter, Iridium plugs, shortshifter, tinted windows.

What would you consider a fair trade in? I am looking to get a new 2004 BMW 325i.

Thanks

id say 12 cause it has a short shifter and mods reduce the value of your car.

mine is problaby worth 8000 max because of the KM and my mods

the best way for a trade in or selling it is to part the car and sell it bone stock. you get more value for it.
so list all your stuff and get rid of it,
(i still get first dibs on his stuff, i called it ;p)

Why is that? Why is it that after putting on things to improve the look and performance of your car, the trade value will drop?
thanks.

yup put it this way. would you want to buy a done up car or do the stuff yourself and call the car yours or would want to be driving down the street and someone waving to you and you dont even know who they are and the other guy is thinking in his head was that joe blow or did he sell his car. the car will be never your car it will be joe's car. and plus with a done up car 100 percent they banged a couple of gears. i do it when i sell my cars.
if you part your car you can always make back some of the money you put into it, just keepall the stock stuff.
dealerships dont car what you have done it anyways they always offer you black book value of your car, they have to make money on it too
(but thats what i think. anyone eles?)

I'v seen some adds in Auto Trader and the cars with mods always go for more. I'v seen 97 done up Eclipse with body kit, stereo, etc. for $22 500. Then some adds say that if you buy the car witout some of the mods, the price will drop. I think the mods raise the value of the car.
