Which MAP for ETS Intake?

Hey guys,

After a 2 day battle royale against the car, I have finally won and gotten my MAP downpipe and testpipe on. Now the question is: "Which MAP do I use if I have an ETS intake?"

My mods are as follows:
ETS Intake
ETS FMIC w/ All pipes
ETS cat-back
MAP DP
MAP TP

and a secondary question to that is do I need to upgrade the fuel pump prior to loading stage 2 onto the car? Thanks for replies in advance.

No to a fuel pump with those mods. A good starting map to flash on would be the one designed for the Cobb SF intake; it will probably need some tweaking though since it wasn't designed for that intake nor an o2 elim dp.

Question: Why don't you guys buy intakes that Cobb created maps for? That way there will be no question or guessing involved.

This is what I did. I used to have the ETS but it wasn't worth the hassle so I sold it. Bought the Cobb inlet and SF for the same price. No more worries and it ran like it should.

Sean the ETS is designed to run fine with a stock tune. The problem is when people go with the Cobb AP and try to run a map that is not designed for the ETS. However Cobb is working on OTS maps for the ETS.

They said that it is undetermined when it will be released. I didn't want to wait around so I purchased the SF intake. They both make the car sound great and tuned you won't find one makes a lot more power than the other.

Cobb has our intake right now. I'm working with Braden over at Cobb and he said they are doing stage 1 and stage 2 and it should be released shortly.

Michael, can you see if they will do a stage 1 and 2 map also using their eletronic boost controller? I bought the Cobb SF intake only because they didn't have map yet for your ETS intake which I prefer more especially due to the shield. If the intake is as nicely built as your V2 quiet catback I will return the Cobb intake that is sitting in the box.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the delay! We have nice update coming out. Unfortunately it's been taking majority of our time. Once we have everything worked out, the ETS intake will be moved up on our priority list to be added.

Steve.

In regards to the maps you're creating for the ETS intake....

Will you be making a stage 1 and stage 2 map?
Will you be making a stage 1 and stage 2 with a Cobb BCS for added boost values?

I pruchased the Cobb BCS to mate up with my Cobb Sf intake over the Grimmspeed due to this option. It be great if you guys could do a map for this option.
