MAP Scaling Questions...
Hey Guys,
So, the vast majority of my tuning experience is with ECU Flash, and some other non-Mitsu stuff. My last car was 100% Speed Density Tuned (Evo IX) on ECUFlash.
I opted to go with a Cobb AP V3 on my new X, and I spent some time last night and this morning scaling my MAF very successfully. However, I'm kinda lost on scaling the MAP.
When I did 3D SD tuning on my IX, I just made updates to the VE table (Load vs RPM). After reading the Cobb Tuning manual though (unless I'm reading this wrong), I am being advise to make changes to the 3x "MAP Based Load Calc" tables.
I've done some logging so that you can see what I'm getting for numbers, but I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be referencing to tune against. ..In the past it was easy... I just looked at load vs RPM and increased the number in those cells to make it richer, or decreased to make it leaner (so to speak - this was just a direct reflection of me changing the load obviously).
What am I looking for in my logs to compare against in my AP tables? Can anyone get me started here or give me a good tutorial? On a side note, my car is a 2013 GSR on 93oct. Thanks!
