APV3 and 2008 EVO X JDM issue?

Hi there,

I have a 2008 JDM Evo X and I seem to be having diagnostic issues with the AccessPort V3, has anyone else had any issues with the JDM Evo not showing the correct Boost, RPM and or Load values??

Apparently my Evo only boosts to 1.6PSI at WOT in Third gear... which if it is the case, I am sure at 21PSI I would be leaving major parts of the cars internals all over the road!!

The AP installed without an issue but none of the gauges or logs show correct values, I have attached a sample log which shows the boost and RPM values completely wrong, these are the same values I see on the AP when I use the gauges as well.

If the car was previously tuned and not returned to stock, would I see these issues??

Currently the vehicle has a Cat back exhaust but no other mods. The log shows a heap of knock at the end of the pulls, which also set the CEL light flashing during the pull, but this could have been bad fuel as I had just filled the car and previously it had not done this.

Any ideas? I logged this with Cobb Support like 8 days ago with the same log and I haven't heard anything back from them. I have the case number if a Cobb support person wants it

I'm looking into it, I will let you know what I find. It looks like its logging the correct data, just the translation is messed up. Just to make sure everything is up to date, what version of FW is your AP/ATR on?

Hi Chris,

Kyle had responded via the support site. It looks like a firmware issue, they have said that they hope to have a patch released in the next Firmware release.

I am currently running AP Firmware V1.7.0.2-7700 and ATR 1.9.1.0-7714

Support id: Request #41984

Cheers
