v403 vs. 1.08 2008 MR?

on stock 08 Evo MR. I can't seem to find anything that compares the two maps. Is there a point to upgrade? running 1.08 right now on stage 1 93.

does v403 give me more HP or take care of the initial TCU lag?

There have been quite a few improvements in the tuning strategy from the time the V108 maps were released. I would definitely recommend upgrading the the V403 as the car should make a little more power and the delivery will be much smoother. I assume the TCU lag you are referring to is the delay in the clutches engaging when taking off from a stop. That has been alleviated with the newer revision maps.

Just a quick warning as I ran into this issue yesterday (Cobb fixed it in an hour though). If you have the boost pill removed, you will need to reinstall it if you are going to use the stage 1 or 2 v403 maps. You can leave the boost pill out if you use the v403 maps AND have the EBCS though. You didn't list your mods so you may not have the same problem as I described though...

Edit:
Never mind my jibberish. I can see you have a stock car in your post. Must have missed that on first read. Your car should be just fine.
