Teach in - Accessport and Tactrix

Teach in - Accessport and Tactrix
Hi there, hoping someone can help me out.
I recently had a protune done with accessport v3 on my 2009 Evo x MR. Very happy with tune however the SST is now dogsh**. Its shifting all over the place and causing knock by being in too high a gear around turns etc.
Anyway, long story short I had the car serviced, changed SST oil filter etc. Still no good.
I bought an Tactrix Openport 2.0 to try and do a teach in but when I plug it in and try connect through Passthru CAN I get: ECU No Response, Check Harness etc.
Do I need to uninstall the AccessPort for the Openport to be able to work??
Any advice/help is appreciated.
