How to: Evo’s HID headlights on Non HID equipped Evo’s.

what you will need.

non hid headlight harness. Leave connected to car. Using plugs on existing harness.

9006 hid kit. I used a cheap Xentec kit

d2s/d2r Rebased bulbs (just means they have 2 wires) X2

Take harness of both oem non hid headlights and plug them back into the harness on the car or hang non hid harness on new hid headlights

plug big orange square connector back into the harness on the car.

next step:

Plug connector on ballast into the same plug on existing oem nom headlight harness. 2 pin small plug.

Then you will plug the connector that comes with for the bulbs into the ballast.

The d2s rebased bulbs will plug into the 2 separate plugs then you can either run wires through the Hid head lights through the caps on the back or find another way.

Since you’re using the factory headlight harness your high beams will work same just plug them in and plug in turn signal/park lights.

only down side fogs will have to be wired independently not sure how to do that quite yet.

Auto level and adjusting will be discarded I removed the unit from the back of the headlight and have been just manually adjusting them.

Using links I posted about everything will be plug and play. Using same connector on stock headlight harness. 9006 hid to d2s/d2r bulbs all plug and play. EASY INSTALL.
