Share your 12.7-12.9 combo with a noob

A friend with an Evo referred me to the site, good reading on here.

I'd like to see some 12.7-12.9 combos with the following parameters:
-street tires
-93 pump gas, no race gas

I am planning to get an Evo in a couple of weeks.

Full exhaust, boost controller, intake and an safc got me to 12.9 last year on 93oct. Could have been better but I had a slipping clutch.

I ran a 12.3 @ 108 with 93 octane, dynoflash, turboback, buscher cone filter, SBCid3. Everything else bone stock, a little over 1K miles on the car.

hey, I remember seeing you post a lot on cz28.com, I have/had a 95Z. Are you keeping the formula if you get the evo?

I don't have any times unfortunately but with a mild SAFC tune, tb exhaust, intake, and MBC at 20psi, the evo feels a good bit faster than my Z was with intake, shorty headers and an exhaust dump.

Welcome to the fun side

I will be keeping the Formula it's evolved into a street/strip car... Hopefully will run 9's on 93 pump gas before the end of the year.

Thanks for the replies, I am assuming that all the pump gas 12's were done with the cat removed?

Thanks!!

I was the happiest person at the track that day. I went there dreaming of a 12.99!

I can't wait for next season!
