have you ever had you car dynoed since you claim 400whp, just curious

 

i dynoed at 320whpand 300 tourque on 19psi....thats before cams (which numerous times i've seen 50whp gains alone), custom TT reflash, fuel pump. i can run 24-26psi so i should be around 400hp.....

 

honestly, you have no idea how bad the track condition was that day. They didn't even let us run for almost an hour while the track crew was getting water off the dragstrip!

I normally can get consistent low 1.6's. This day I ran 2 1.8's and 2 2.0's. HORRENDOUS.

quite a few cars crashed this day as well becuase of the traction isssues.

there was water on the starting line too, since all the cars have to go through the burnout box and since most of the cars have treaded tires...well...it was cold enough that the water wasn't evaporating as fast as cars were dragging it to the line.

next time it is just sprinkling out before it rains. try launching from a stoplight...then you will know sideways. fun stuff.

 

i felt like i was on snow....there was no point in trying to go fast....i felt bad for the fwd and rwd there that day.....i had it bad but they must of had it the worst!!!

 

Umm he doesn't claim 400WHP but 400HP. Their is a BIG difference betweeen the two .

Nice run man!....The advans suck in the cold I had a run before the last day of the track season and I ran a 12.6 with a 2.4 60 foot...so pist that could have been a low 12 second pass. Keep it up bro!

 

yeah i know jim...oh yeah i remember i did meet you out front of dicks sporting goods whats up man....i know i would of liked to see what the run would of been with no tire spin....then the run i ran high boost would of been 11's!!!

 

Great run for such bad conditions. I know what it's like to try to put together a good run in crappy conditions. Atco sucks for AWD.

I love the sideways action too. Wouldn't you have had to ease off the throttle a bit to straighten that up?

I am pretty sure the high 11's are not out of the question. You had no traction in that 12.4 run. What happened to your wing? I remember you fried your clutch or something with your tranny a while back. I guess it's fixed. What clutch you have now? I also know that Sheppard racing builds bulletproof drivetrains and trannies. Have a Merry Christmas by the way!

 

Hey Justin, I just checked out your website. You have some serious s**t on your car! I see you have a Turbotrix flash. I was thinking of seeing them for a flash in the future after mods. But first I want to get a base run. How are they to deal with are they cool? Have you had any problems with your flash? You gotta take me for a ride in your car one day.

 

yeah i will take you for a ride anytime...i have the act in my car now...its my 3rd clutch which sucks but holding up well. I have a turbotrix built tranny. I would without a doubt go to turbotrix for the flash. i gained 40whpon 19psi and they are very cool people to deal with. hey pm me if you wanna meet up to go for a ride....
