I've seen that video, and the EVO was lightly modded and the Z didn't pull as hard as I thought it would, then again, could have been driver error or something.

with the mods you have & assuming your car is tuned, it will be close. if your cams are dialed in, you will have the top end to keep up from a roll. for example, on stock cams, 101 octane unleaded, & a base dynoflash, i'm running 9 degrees of advanced timing in gears 1 & 2 with 16 degrees timing on gears 3 & 4. there is still more timing left to play with. also keep in mind those timing #'s are good for a minimum 93 octane fuel. it is ultimately driver skill that will decide.

They're quick and trap pretty high. But I haven't seen many TT Z's put down good ET's without slicks. If you've got a good tune and can drive well, and he has a pretty bad 60' like expected, you should win. Off the line is no doubt. It's staying ahead that will be tough.

LOL he says he'll destroy you because of his extra gear, but you're going to race at a drag stip? Don't let him in on this little secret, but less shifts are better at the drag strip.

from the video, looks like the TTZ has nice top end than stock turbo evo,

for 1/4miles, really about drivers' skills,
but hey, it always fun that you can beat a car with more hp than yours.

Same here, except my mods weren't done using buschur parts. I've beat one TT350Z while I was running 24psi and another n/a 350Z with a bunch of bolt-on's and nitrous. Both races were done on the freeway for fun. I think you'll get him easily at the track if your a good drag racer (which I'm not...best e.t. while stock was 14.2 while my friend turned around and ran a 13.6 that same night in the same car which was mine ). Either way, good luck because they're both fun cars.
