estimated time in 1/4 mile

ok i went to the track a few weeks ago and ran my car for the first time with the stock clutch that was on it's last leg. i mean i launched the car by just bouncing the revs off of the limiter at 5k and slipping it a little bit until the car started moving and then i popped it out and the car felt like it fell on it's face. i have recently put in an exedy twin plate and haven't had time to go to the track again. my mods are as follows: aem intake, go fast bits stealth fx bov, apexi dp, perrin test pipe, hks hi power exhaust, tein ss coil overs, hks evc set at 22 psi with 100 octane, greddy tt, ferrodo ds2500 brake pads, $hitty falken tires, defi boost gauge, autometer shift light, and stock ecu flash. i was just wondering what kind of times i would have run if i had my twin plate clutch in at the time.

60ft. 2.11 (crap stock clutch)
330ft. 5.80
1/8 8.82
1000ft. N/A (my track doesn't time this for some reason)
1/4 13.55
mph 107.75

Going by mph alone and assuming you get a 1.75 60' and can drive well, I would say you can get a 12.6-12.7. I dunno, though, with that Autometer shift light, you could probably knock off another 2/10ths. I hear those are teh pwnage.

There's a formula someone posted on another thread with the "1350" rule. Assuming GREAT driving (ET)*(MPH)=1350. So with "perfect" driving at 107.75 you would run a 12.529. (1350/107.75=12.529)

going by the millisecond huh? lol, anyways, this is a good assumption. i was figuring 12.4 - 12.7 depending on your skills. the MPH should go up maybe to 110 -112. good luck next time out.

Are you planning on changing to some stickier tires?

it would be really funny if he really ran exactly a 12.529

when i bought my car i put a set of wheels on order(read signature). i put the better tires on them and got cheap crap tires for the stockers. plus i would rather blow the tires off then snap something in the driveline. then i decided i wanted to sell the wheels to help finance the turbo upgrade i want(would rather have 500 awhp then a set of wheels, plus i like the sleeper look better). but eventually, yes, i will get better tires for the stock wheels. but these ones have to wear down first.

I don't know anything about that formula... but it seems pretty damn accurate. I ran a 12.544 @ 107.36mph with my previous setup.
