I wouldn't expect much at all because of this statement. The Injen Intake is pure gayness without a tune, and running 272s with the FP will cause all sorts of problems on the stock AFR settings. You will probably spit and sputter gas until you pass out in the driver's seat from being so rich. Your mods are capable of nearly 350whp (dynojet) with a great tune, but without it, I'd expect no more than 300whp. With average driving, that would get you a high 12 @ 106-107?

I know ill be getting the tuning eventually but i dont know which road to go down. Mail in flash or take a ride down to Jersey and visit Turbo Trix? How much would a full tune cost me?

I don't know how much that would cost, since I tune myself with the S-AFC, but I would highly recommend the custom tune over the mail-in flash. If you have already spent the money on that good combination of mods, you might as well get the best tune you can. You'll be glad you did...

Dude, you are going to blow-up your car running that high of boost with cams and an intake and no tune. Get your car tuned right after you install everything. I would not even go under boost without tuning with those mods. Your car, you make the call.

LOL @ this

hes perfectly alright runing that much boost and no tune. I ran 23 psi on almost those same mods with the default ECU fuel settings. I went to the dyno today and i was hitting 10:1 AFR. He's perfectly safe @ 21 psi. the factory ECU goes pig rich after 5k rpm.

no offense...but please, learn a bit more, before you scare people for no reason at all.

No offense taken. I would not want to give someone information that is not true. I was merely giving him my opion. That is what these forums are all about. I have been told by my tuner that runing 21 psi with out a tune is not a good idea. He stated that on the top end I would run rich, but in the mid range the car would run extremely lean. It is always better to be safe then sorry. I would rather spend $300-$400 on a tune then lose my motor.

The car won't run nearly as good or be nearly as fast w/o some kind of tune. Even a mail-in will make a big difference.

tune or lose.. you may be safe, but your not going to get nearly the full power without some type of tuning..

Depends on who is tuning you. I would PM Mark at Turbotrix for your answers. You may want to ask him how good it is to run without a tune with the mods you are getting and boost level. The street is a lot different than a dyno. He would have your answers. Mark does some great work. I would go for the custom tune myself.

A mail-in is a tune, but it's just not custom. The flash should include a rev limit bump to 7800 and the removal of boost taper only if you get a flash that includes it. You need to be asking the vendors who sell this stuff, not us. Or you could just read their website...
