9.61 @ 152mph
You guys may start bashing me at anytime, I dont consider it a record until its repeated. A person may run one nine second pass all of a sudden its a nine second car. I feel that it has to be repeated back to back before its called a nine second car. This goes out to no one, just my opinion.
Mark will get the video and timeslip up later on today. For a modification list visit www.amsperformance.com and click featured cars. you will see a link for the entire mod list to the EVO VIII. Congrats Eric Jones for piloting the beast and to EVERYONE at AMS for having a hand in building it.
On a side note I would like to tip my hat to TurboTrix. We (AMS) have the utmost respect for these guys and to have a record like they did and to set it as soon as they did is simply amazing. Lets also not forget how long it stood. Im sure they will be clipping back on our heels in no Time.

We only got two runs in last night because the track closed early. First pass was a 9.80 at 152mph, second pass was 9.61 at 152mph. As soon as Eric nailed the launch and the first to second shift I knew the pass was going to be good. The car spun the tires hard in 2nd gear! 60' times was 1.60 , 1/8 mile time was 6.3 mph was 116. We'll have video up soon. Congrats to Eric on some good driving. We're getting everything sorted out on this car and each time it makes a pass I tweak the tune a little and each time we go out something is done to improve the car. We're almost there, just some suspension tuning and playing with tire pressures for track conditions and our 60' time should start dropping.
THis was done with full interior (both seats) and full exhaust. Besides a few driveline troubles we literally check the oil level and add gas to it. Heck, I haven't even changed the plugs since the NOPI race in St. Louis.
The tune has some more left in it, and the plan is to try to run under 9.5 at over 155mph on boost.

Congratulation on the accomplishment. It's always good to see hardwork and dedication pay off. I think that 9.5 and 155mph is definately not out of the question for you guys.
On a side note, What size a/r are you running on the t4 Housing? I am just realy curious.
