This weekend was a blast. What a great way to end a Saturday with parts failure. This had to be one of the most exiting moments in my life. I can wait to see it in ESPN. Not to bad for a team that is out just to have fun. I hope we can get the power to the ground once it’s turn up. I would love to find some more videos of that run. I’m sure John will chime in him self here is a little something he has posted.

Quoted by John Shepherd:

Yes video is public as long as it is ok with Tex.

Btw tex I thought it was a 20g, it sure hits like one.

The weekend started off ****ty during qaulifying on Sat when I broke 2 rear diffs in a row and on the 1st qualifier the nitrous relay went bad.

I will take some pics of the destruction. After staying up till 2 am putting a rear end together out of 2 broke ones and a boneyard one from turbotrix I was not very confident it would hold up.

I again changed the way I launch the car. I am not using the anti lag anymore so now I have to learn all over again for the 4th time this year. This was the first full launch with the new way. I am still off on the launch because it bogged to 4400 on the launch for the 7 sec pass and there is sill room left with the motor. We were "only" at 56 lbs of boost and there is plenty of timing and tuning left.

Sorry for rambling but I have to thank

Ron Shearer and Eric Shellman for being such a huge help and giving me ideas and wrenching at the track and the help towing.

ACT For sticking with me since 1996 !!

Forced Performance The bad *** turbo set up

Polk performance What an awesome cyl head. This is still the first head he built for me early this year !!

Buschur Racing For building a bomb proof motor. Again this is the exact same motor that has been in the car most of the year. Still has perfect compression.

Aem For the standalone everyone loves to hate but works very well

Jason Siebels from Aem For being one of my best friends and one of the biggest reasons the car is where it is today. He will not let me rest. He wants 7.50's now.

Ams For what has to be the best intake on the market

Driveshaft shop For building me some axles, drive shaft and a t.case that for as small as they are hold up very well.

The fuel injector clinic For taking care of me for years when I needed injectors , fittings etc.

Again sorry for the rambling and plugs but there are a lot of people that deserve credit for helping and I am sure I have missed some.

Now that's a guy with an attitude I like.

He just got whooped but because he ran better than he ever has he was happy.
You know you love the thrill of competition when you can do that.
