Run with Stock Intake or HKS RS intake?

I'll be running at the track soon. The car right now has the HKS RS intake on with HKS HiPower exhaust. Far as I know the car is not reflashed. Should I swap out the HKS RS and go to the track with the Stock Intake, would the ecu have enough time to reset? Or will it be worse by not giving the ECU enough time to learn. I Will be swapping out to stock on Saturday and Sunday is track day.

Stay with the Stock one. If you don't have a flash for the intake then you better stay with the stock set up!

Why don't you try both at the track. Do a couple of runs stock, then swap in the RS. BTW, foam filters don't really filter.

i tried both when stock. with the stock intake i trapped over 100mph(102).
with an RMR intake w/o any tuning i was at 99mph.
i ran 13.5's.

An MBC would be a better mod.

Keep the HKS RS and get it tuned.

Oh, i'm keeping the intake and will get a tune but no time for that now. Track day is coming up too soon, this weekend. I actually have to swap it out with a cousin who has an RS. When I bought the Evo, it came with the RS intake and HKS exhaust, so I don't even have the stock intake.

It works out, he's not running his car, so I'll just use his stock intake at the track. Just wanted to get a concensus if this was a good idea..
