Well wonderin what everyone thanks:

An 05 with minor bolt ons(exhaust, boost, tune,etc...) would you prefer the 5k limiter for launching or disconnect want to see what others think.

I will definately try both but just wanted to see how many support it and how many dont support it.

I wouldn't recommend using it.

 

disconnect it but only for the track....I recently did this and improved my 60ft. Make sure you reconnect it after because the revs hang after 5k if you dont

I never tried launching W/O it. Best 60' was 1.794 with 5k limit, but tonight I am going to disconnect it and let her rippppppppp!!!

Definitely disconnect, your 60' will improve.

 

ive found that once i got used to the 5k limter is helped me. i disconnected it and couldnt find the sweat spot to launch at. bogged or spun bad. hooked it back up and preesed the gas pedal half way down till it started to bounce and dump and smash the pedal the rest of way for me this has resulted in a change from 1.8x 60's disconnected and a best so far (two track days) 1.71 connected. but i like the fact of not having to watch the tree and my rpms at the same time. I know 100% that with more practice of this stlye ill get a 1.6x's all day i do have a ACT tho.
