btw- I only mention my time/trap because we are trapping similar... so you should be able to get a similar et, if not better.

28-29 psi on the dyno using Deadbolts SZ49, 49lb compressor wheel... basically an FP Green.

My cars race weights was somewhere around 3200-3300 with me in it. I imagine your car is abit heavier.

Apples to apples, here is a comparo of a GT35R vs my SZ49 vs FPRed vs SC61

All dynapacks (Agiles and Turbo XS's), all stock EJ207s w/similar supporting mods. The Red and SZ are stock mount, the GT35R and SC61 are rotated mount turbos.

I was going to guess 450whp (Dynojet), but he already showed us that's exactly what he dyno'd, hah, although it's a Dynapack (same ballpark).

i thought that dynopack read lower that dynojet dynos.
Dug nice power man, that is one of the most powerful wrx's i have seen and they're not many.

That's why I said same ballpark. Dynapacks USUALLY read lower, but there's one in MD near NOVA that reads a little higher than our Dynojets. The one example I have is an Dc Evo Club guy who dyno'd ~290whp on the local Dynapack, then dyno'd ~280whp on a Dynojet a few weeks later with the same setup.

3 of those 4 are located in Baltimore/Harford County Maryland... The GT35R car (just over 500 whp) sees the New York area, but he comes down here to play.

Prolly the most powerful Subies in the area are Element Tuning's WRX (near DC) and a guy with a Yellow wagon... Elements made close to 600 whp on a 2.5 block. It ran an 11.37 and and trapped 132 (seperate runs). And the yellow wagon, out of New Jersey, went 10.8s I believe... built auto, built 2.6 block with a shot.

Anyway, the 4 above are probably the fastest, highest horsepower BONE STOCK Subie 2 liters in the country. Stock internals, stock heads, stock cams, stock everything in the longblock. Even stock intake manifolds. Heck, I am running a stock exhaust manifold, too.

Thanks though. I love the car, love the powerband.... I am tempted to get something a little larger... but as you can see, I'd be giving up A LOT down low.

Need to 60' better. Set up the anti-lag, makes it a whole different ball game launching big turbos. I actually now launch my car much lower than I did with the stock turbo and I get better 60's.

Your 11's are there. Just need to drive better. Your 1/8MPH is also on the low side. Should be in the mid- high 90's. You're probably falling out of boost by shifting too damn slow.

So I was not alone. My best run is 12.2xx / 123 mph on my GT35r with SAFC-II with a 2.1 60'.

I been practice and got my 60' down to 1.69 in my last run with ECU+ replacing SAFC but my trap speed is only 116 mph and still 12.2. So it's not just the 60', it's also the shifting as well. I been practice quick shifting without letting the gas pedal completely out lately and hope to get into 11s in the next out.

I noticed that if I shift it right (don't let the gas pedal up completely), the car will launch forward each time shifted (I'm starting worry about my transfer case now). You're right, it's harder to launch and shift perfectly with the GT35r. Those who can launch and shifting good in the GT35r are really good. Good luck next time out.

practice your 60 foot, try to bring it down to 1.67-1.8. with Exedy Twinplate or ACT 6 pucks clutchs make it very easy to do this.

Thanks G20, i was following your progress even before i got my kit, for only having a SAFC (at that time), i was really impressed with your runs. i got the 2step done today after some fidling with the aem, tomorrow i am going to try and set the anti-lag, i am not using the clutch switch so i don't know if i can get the no lift shift. i guess i am going back too the aem forum and this saturday is going to be track day .

Sylvester31,
when you shifted, did your boost drop off a lot that it took a while for the turbo to spool up? I found that with the GT35r, just one not-so-perfect shift can take a significant times away. If I can shift fast with the gas pedal down a bit to keep the rev from drop off then the car will launch forward without droping boost indicating a good shift. The problem is, doing that with high RPM shift (7800) can easy cause lock out of gear and that will end the run since I lost 1-2 seconds if I got gear lock out between shift. Oh well! I guess I have to put together a perfect launch and shift or getting my transmission improve from TRE or Sheper.
