Check this out! This was my first time at the dragstrip! My 60' in the first pass were good but I applied the brakes before the 1/4 mile and only did 100mph! Opps, first time on that track! Later it rained and my 60' werent as good because the track wasnt as sticky as before! but still doing 12.3 at 112mph with Dynoflash and basic mods! Check out the race against the RSX!

Full TBE, Megan Manifold, MBC, Injen Intake, HKS SSQ BOV (VTA), HKS Cams 264s, AMS FMIC and Dynoflash! The event was called D2, there was also a Solo1 event, the EVOs won that event easily!

I was going to ponce but decided to stay in salinas and went 12.7 @110 with only minor mods. keep the evo flag up.

How was Salinas? what car won?
Someone told me that it was raining there also! The weather wasnt very good that day and there were 3 different events at different tracks.

Chuco(JVELA) and IvanEVO were both doing mid 10 seconds passes with radials in Ponce that day. JVELA did 10.3 with radials in his EVO VIII a few weeks ago.

I'll be out there in Feb. Cant wait to see some of these cars.

I sure will. I'll be in Hatillo & Arecibo most of the time. How far is that from where you guys get together at the track ??

 

I pass thru that track this summer while visiting the family in EL Tuque. The Volky's were racing that day.

 

That track is in Ponce, but from Arecibo you can come to Carolina Raceway Park and its like an hour. In carolina we race Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. But on Mondays and Fridays we use it without the christmas tree, lights or time! Those nights are for street-like racing with no cops! Everyone its at the sides of the track and someone just stand up in the middle were the christmas tree is and gives the signal! You can race from a standstill or rolling start if you want and race as long as you can brake before the end of the track! Many EVOs, Subarus, Turbo Hondas, Mustangs, Porsches and Turbo 350Zs are going on Mondays.

If you want to know your ET you just go one of the other days! Contact me when you are coming and we can arrange something with the other EVOs and Subarus, there are some fast guys here, a few street 10 seconds EVOs and also a few 11 and 10 seconds STis. Let me know!

My clutch is gone still I managed to trap best which Predator didnt tape :grumble: 12.33 @114 mph, we'll see what happens when I get a new clutch. Predator, we're going to Salinas on Wednesday keep your camera ready, BigValley is taking his car there too.
