nobody honestly says they rather have a viper over a z06... those that buy a viper ONLY buy it because they are a Dodge fanboy or absolutely HATE GM (which results in the first reason)...

 

new z06 is arround 72k.. but it still owns all.

 

I would still take a viper over any car under 80k, I would rather drive a viper to show off then a covette. Alot of people have vettes not alot of people can afford a viper.

 

EVOs will only beat Vipers or Z06s in your dreams as long as the drivers are equally good or equally bad....

 

You're on crack. There are plenty of evos that will beat both of these cars fair and square.

 

That's true, the Viper is more of an exotic car. It is like asking if you would buy a Ferrari 430 Spider over a ZO6. True the ZO6 will own the Ferrari at a fraction of the cost, but if I was filthy rich, I would own the Ferrari. I'd rather ride the Prancing Horse than wear the Bowtie. I do wish the ZO6 came in convertible.

 

That is also true. But a majority of them probably don't have catalytic converters and need race gas to do so.

 

no it's not... because the Ferarri isn't made with old tractor parts from the 1930s... you don't get enough car for 80k with the viper... it's almost a bargain to buy the z06...

tell me this, for 80k would you buy a nsx? hell, it's an exotic too....

 

Look at the Viper ask anyone on the streets which car they will pick viper or z06 or evo they will say viper. V10 that runs 11.7 stock. NSX runs 13.6 stock thats a huge difference. But the NSX are nice looking. What do you see Celebrities in? EVO's no more like vipers etc.

Just look how bad *** they look.

 

oh no doubt the car looks awesome.. but performance to money wise, you can't go wrong with the z06... it's just retarded that GM made that car so cheap for the amount of performance you get...

and btw, a stock z06 on slicks will go sub 11's if not 10's.....

 

There is no way I could justify spending MORE money on a Viper over the new Z06. TO be honest, I saw the C6 Z06 a couple days ago (I actually lined up with one on the street but he wouldnt run!) and man did it look BADASS. It made the regular C6 just look plain and gay. The Z06 LOOKS very exotic to me and Im very paticular about my cars!

 

Yeah, plenty of modified EVOs This is the ridiculous kind of cr@p that makes me want to trade my EVO in on some other car..... If there is one stock EVO that can beat a Viper or a Z06 out bof the box, it's a very rare one......

You made a general comment that EVOS cant beat Z06s and VIPERS. Thats pretty general and narrow-minded wouldnt you say? Especially since 99% of people mod their cars. Try being a little more specific and you wont have to reply to people who are trying to clarify your general statements which everyone already knows.

Stock EVOs cant beat Vipers... wow Im sure no one knows that.

 

OK, how about this:

A stock EVO is very unlikely to outperform a stock Viper or a stock Z06 in either a drag race or a track event assuming the drivers are equally skilled (or unskilled)......

Talking about how the EVO can out perform a Viper or Z06 is totally meaningless if the EVO is modified to equal or exceed the hp to weight ratio of those cars or the driver of the EVO is more skilled than the other driver.

How would the EVO fanatics react to the statement like "my Miata beat that snotty rich kid in his EVO for $10K less"... Sounds stupid? Think again, there are lots of Miatas out there that can easily best an EVO (even a modified EVO) in any number of contests. Does that mean that the Miata is superior to the EVO?...

 

Ok I see your point now, with the "I spent this and I beat you comment". I actually am a firm hater of those remarks as well. Again though, I think everyone here knows the place the EVOs hold in the food performance chain (although there are some definite dreamers).
