I am happy with that considering its a TBE K&N drop-in ECUTEk APS FMIC ON 91 pump
Next I will tune for 100 oct and see what she can do.

Last time I was there they nicely handled me a nice supository bill of nearly $400 for having my car on the Dyno for one and a half hours(that does not include the tunning).
The tunning was done by AZscoobie which I paid him $150 and hour for extra tunning. The final result was 280.3whp and 255 torque on my WRX(Dyno Dynamic Dyno).
Anyway, Dyno-comp is probably one of the nicest shops in Phoenix and around the western USA but Richard must understand that he can't charge $180 per hour for the Dyno, that is simply ridiculous.
Since I don't want to ruin any shop/tuner reputation I must say that Richard is a good and knowleadble guy and he is a owner of a fast 11sec STI. Don't get me wrong, he can work on Evos and has the background for it, maybe he just need to work on the prices a little bit..that is all

I've heard there is a 1-2 tenths difference between Speedworld and Firebird, but I've never seen it for myself.
I'm pretty sure Reid was kidding when he said ONE SECOND faster. whew

Had a lot of my stuff done at Dyno Comp. Had most of my wrx stuff done there. I think I only made like 255whp though with a vf34. Had my initial tune done there with my evo and my cams installed there. They are good at what they do and they fixed a few errors the people who installed my turbo kit made, but they do charge a lot.
Since then I have installed my AEM and had my friend tune it. Last time I was there the car made 405whp @ 28psi on 100 trick fuel. I would be curious to see where I am now, since I got the AEM. Anyhow I will be down at Firebird on the 20th for Friday night drags. Should be a good time. Last time I was down there I only managed an 11.6 @ 123, but it was like 100+ degrees that evening and I was still running the stock ecu.

It is good and handy to me. I think everyone already agreed that Dyno-comp is indeed one of the nicest shop in Phoenix(it use to be the nicest, now maybe Vividracing).
The fact that Dyno-comp is located on that prestigious neighboorhood it gives them more cliche so that is why they can afford to have a different sport import car in their show room every few weeks and that is why they have the checkers floors, observing deck for the Dyno, few lifters, storage room, officce staff and all the good stuff.
Richard Garcia was a legitimate GM mechanic for over 7 years and off course he has been tunning WRX/STI/Evo for a few years now. If he could bend a little bit on the prices I am sure he would have more customers. Average people like you and me can't really afford his prices. But by all means, be his customer.

I had some APS stuff on my WRX also before I got rid of it. What did you run w/ your old WRX? I had a VF-30 setup tuned at DynoComp put down 300 WHP and ran a 12.5 @ 108 mph. It was a good car but I sold it.

Yeah Carlos, I was just kidding. That's what the "jk" means in the next paragraph. I know that English isn't your first language, but in computer slang English "jk" stands for Just Kidding. That concludes the lesson for tonight.

Do you ever miss your S2K? Right now I REALLY miss mine with how fun it was and the perfect weather every day now! What did you have done to it before you got rid of it? I had an AEM CAI, Mugen header, and Spoon exhaust and test pipe. It was a great car!

Topnotch,
I should had call you or pm you yesterday, I was at Firebird last night, I left at 1230am, I could only run twice:
12.226@111.43 and a 12.40@110.70
I really like that track a lot, unfortunately there were about 250 cars in the pits and it took me about one hour for the techs but it was worth, I guess it was the first race of the season.
I am going back to Phoenix in about 3 weeks to run my car there again with the headers, intercooler and HKS DLI II. The track is soo easy to find if you are coming from Tucson, it is just right there by I-10.
By the way, when are you Phoenix guys coming to SIR to run your cars?, I offer incentives if someone can break bellow 12.5s and 12 sec on a Evo 8/9.
