Good run and hopefully it will teach many a EVO driver that RWD has the advantage when the right tire is used.

Actually 0.523 slower reaction, but again I was in it for the times, not the race. Still made for good video though.

He did almost red light. I made sure to stay on the gas for an extra 2 seconds after the trap so he knew who his daddy was.

Actually it was a 1.61 to 1.68 60' which is negligible.

I enjoyed watching that.

You let him have a head start to feel good about himself, until he looks at his timeslip

Ah, wow, look at his 60' and mph. He must have also been an automatic with only a 107mph trap.

So do you always have to shift to 5th? I was just wondering how fast you can get before 4th gear runs out.

Girlie,

It would depend on your red limiter, I believe Scot has his engine tweak to go well beyond 8000rpm, I would say the 4th on his car is capable of at least 115MPH or above.

I datalogged it to 115mph at 8200. We could run it to 8500, but now that we are 118+, we dropped the limiter to 7700-7900 and shift to 5th early for maximum boost and trap speed. The car is only making 230-260whp at 8000+ rpms as you run out of boost at high rpm.

Thanks. Like I said, the car is down 3-4mph for some reason, maybe warmer weather.

Maybe too much ignition timing. Tune was good, driving was better. Trap speed was low for the E.T.

I will keep an eye out for a buyer for your turbo.
