does the 10.5 hotside really make that much difference??
I have the mods in my Sig and the best time I have run is 12.073@115.07. That is with the 9.8T that us poor '03/'04's come with. I don't see the 10.5t guys doing it either unless they just have a factory freak EVO.

I have a customer who has run a grip of 11.70 passes without cams. Granted he has bought more than most would without getting cams.

Oh and this guy can drive, 1.58 60 ft on 235 American GT Turbo tires????
He used to cut 1.6x 60's on stock clutch and tires (both lasted ~22K miles and 40 passes)
Couple of time slips are attached too. Both were in the left lane different nights.

I hope so b/c i just ordered one ."20hp more when pushing the trubo to the max vs the 9.8" is what someone in the know has told me.
Other ppl have gone .2-.3 quicker in the 1/4 after changing it out .
So right now my 11.7@117 was with the 9.8hs next time out iam going to have a 10.5hs ported , ported mani and a cheap O2 housing and Ill see how much of a diff it is .
Anything more than 20hp (.2 in the 1/4) ill be very happy with

I went 10.3 on my pump gas map on 17 psi in the 1000'. Then I put C-16 in and turned up the boost to 27psi and changed to my race gas map and went 9.5 in the 1000'. If you look at his time slips that should be about an 11.5 in the 1/4. I also have a 100 shot of nitrous that I could not use because the clutch was sliping. I think I can run a high 10 sec pas on nitrous in the 1/4 with a new clutch and tires. The maps in my aem are just street tuned and have aem stock ignition maps in them. all I am useing the aem for right now is fuel tuning.

11's on a non-cammed stock turbo'd '05 used to be a goal for me.
I couldn't manage it. It seems you need at least 113 mph traps with 1.6x 60's to pull it off.
I managed the 1.6x 60's but the car could only muster 110mph traps. Good for only 12.2's. I had 100 oct, 25 lbs. Track was 800 msl. 60 F

I think there is a Evo 2 GSR here in NZ that has done a 11.05 on a stock internaled engine and turbo. It was stripped out and just has things like fuel, intercooler, bov, w/gate, Motec ECU, stock exhaust manifold, Custom plenum and a head gasket. It was dynoed at around 21PSI which was pushing it but it got like 240KW at the wheels. I think it is on C16 to. and then there is a Evo 1 GSR with the same specs that has done a 11.2.
