It was a really windy, 35-40mph head winds at Bandimere in Morrison Colorado. Which I am sure had a rather detrimental effect on the times.
I was running 91 octane, full interior, and my 275lb **** shifting like a madman.I full lift shifted on all gears, the stock clutch was not letting me NLS. Scaled in at 3500lbs with me and 1/2 a tank of gas. 22.5psi, just like Al tuned it.
My first run nearly got me thrown out, because my 15yr old cousin was riding with me and neither he or I had a Helmet. It is also illegal to break under 14.0 with a rider in the car. I granny shifted my way to:

He met me after the time shack and asked how much I had in the car, He was shocked to find out how minimal my mods were. He had intake, headers, and full exhaust, which cost about the same as my investment. He said his best time to date was a 14.2. Just goes to show how much altitude sucks, especially for the N/A guys.

the last run, the wind had died down to 15-20 mph, notice the pick up in mph, had there been no wind I think I would have trapped closer to 104. I think even the pump set up has the potential to go 12's
How did you get a 1.74 60ft time with a 3500rpm launch at 5000ft? I don't get it. Secondly you being a very large man why add more weight to the car by allowing a passenger to ride along with you. I don't car about your times but you car is being launched with a couple hundred pounds more then the average evo owner. Very hard on your drive train. What is your launch control set at? Glad you had fun and I would think with some more boost and some race gas you could see 12's, good luck
3500, is where I start engaging the clutch while the revs are on the way up, like this

-Viola 1.74 without killing your clutch or your dirvetrain.
The Titanium turbo comes to life really early on and I bet full torque is realized (Ideal launching point) is between 3500 and 4000rpm

We will see if my petite and delicate flower like 6'4 275lb linebacker frame can still let me run a decent time. I may be a .10 off but hey I can still bench 425lbs.... I am such a pansy....

The subie guys were out and running lots of 14+'s but no EVO's
Had fun beating lots of camaros and vettes, I only lost one run to a 540ci charger on a 200 shot, he ran a 11.92 and I held him till 1/8th. But I did not need a trailer to get to the race
Helps put my 12.30 into perspective, yah. Btw, that 3500rpm launch point is EXACTLY what kills the clutch. IT does save the drivetrain, but the more you slip, the more it heats up and kills the clutch, so be ready with a new one.
It is a little more complicated than the floor it and slip, the gas pedal goes down at a rate of speed which is relative to the uptake on the clutch, so engagement of the clutch starts at about 25% throttle and full throttle comes in once the clutch is fully engaged. The slip has to be quite quick, just long enough to keep the tires from spinning, and the turbo from laging.

I have not had the car on the dyno. I would assume an UNCORRECTED 300whp. According to the calculators I have used 102 mph on a 3500 lb car works out to 300 at the wheels. Accitionally the 13.2 works out to right at 300 whp.
So, according to the calculators, I am driving just about as well as I can given the power output of the car.
