1/4 time at VMP

Went to the track last nite at VMP, got better results than I was hoping for.
My time is on the right.

Why such low expectations? You should have been expecting 111-112mph traps and low 12s with those mods. Looks like you were really, really slow through the 1/8th then fast on the top-end. Maybe your shift points are off, or they're very slow.

I'd had low expectations b/c I wasn't gonna speed shift, I just think I'm shifting slow....I just need a couple more track days to work that out.

Yeah stock cat, dp, and intake. I'm gonna change the clutch/flywheel before I do anything else.

Cmon, the guys got boost controller, catback, and a flash. Can't really expect more than a 12.7 with those mods and a normal driver.

unless its a nine? Which i dont recall

EDIT: Ok, 06 MR nevermind.

Yeah, Boltz, I only said that because of IX. Isn't it funny, though, that guys hit 12.7s with such few mods, and we consider it below expectations? Damn, I wish I had a IX.

How much boost was this on?

Those traps seem to be dead on although there might be 1 or 2 mph to be had. Usually I see IX's trapping 112-113 that have a full turboback, mbc, and a flash.

Well, you don't gain 4-5mph just from a test pipe/downpipe - maybe 1-1.5mph - so this is still very low. For reference, I ran 12.6s on pump gas when I had a cat-back, SAFC, and MBC on the 05. Then, I ran 12.22 on race gas with those mods. He has a flash and a IX, so he's way off the pace in terms of mph, but the driving isn't bad at all.

It's spikes to 21 then tapers to 18 or 17
