Well, you've been hanging out with the wrong crowd. I don't see how anyone could tell you that TurboTrix doesn't tune well while letting you drive around like a damn riceboy with $3k worth of mods and no tune while trapping less than a stock 03 Evo. If the people around you knew what they were talking about, they would have smacked you silly for wasting all that money with no tune. TurboTrix is a well-respected vendor/tuner on here with lots of fast cars. Even if you didn't want to use TT, you could easily and quickly get a mail-in flash from Dynoflash for $199. There's no excuse not to be tuned. It's only 200 at first then 100 for retunes, so waiting all this time while wasting money on useless mods just to only get flashed once was not a wise decision.

Basically i tried to go by the Buschur packages, but simply did not get the flash, or the safcII. Other than that i am just about what buschur says by i beleive stage 3 or 4. Warrtalon you would be most familiar, considering you have power packages associated with Dave Buschur.

Yes, and none of it makes any sense without a tune. Notice also that my package doesn't include an intake, IC pipes, or FMIC.

As long as you stay on the stock turbo, put the stock intake back on.

I agree that a tune will help. But I also think it's the driver more then it is the car. Even untuned, he should still be running in the 13s with the right driver. Don't contribute everything to the car, the human still has to perform just as much as it does.

If he gets a tune, the intake won't hurt him. It might give him a couple hp.

Before my tune, I could swear I lost power with my RMR intake. It was my only mod for like 3 months. After the tune, it was a completely different story.

Oh, I was at the track last night and a bone stock Evo was running and trapping those times. This track is not the fastest I've been on either.

I'm just a strong fan of the stock intake. I don't plan to upgrade mine at all

call the dynoflash place tell them your mods and get your flash asap!

or drive to TT, and have them do it.

either way you need to get tuned, with your trap speed it leads us to believe you have lost HP. with your mods you should be 50-80 HP above stock with a proper tune.

like war said, do a leak test, make sure your plugs are good, and your car is working fine! go get your tune, and your car should be a lot faster!

I plan on goinmg to TT on Tuesday,,,, but due to Memorial Day,, Im not sure if they will be open tomorrow,,,,, So sometime this week. I am doing the pressure test, but I have a questionm, why couldnt you hook the pressure tester up to the end of the intake pipe, instead of the turbo inlet? Considering those areas are prone to leaks. My plugs should be fine,,, I bought the car brand new, its an o5,, and theres only 18,000 on it.

Where are you talking about hooking the boost leak tester? Do you mean up by the mass air sensor or by the throttle body??
