How easy will I win?

This friend of mine knows this guy who wants to run my car. He has a "stock" R32 and they both feel pretty confident it'll take the IX They must be really stupid or the guy is modded to hell and they're bsing me. My car is stock but I'm still going to run this guy to shut him up. How easy will I take this fool? (assuming he's stock)

Complete domination, i think it's funny how people think their R32's are fast. Yes it is super fast FOR A VW.

I don't care how modded it is, as long as it doesn't have forced induction, you'll rape it.

Reno, you'll have no problem. I've raced a bunch of 32's and they're all slow.

unless its turbo'd(wich is exspensive on r32's) or has a built motor... it has no chance. Although lets hope u dont pull a 2.2+ 60 ft or miss gears from bad driving. my friend had one with full bolt ons and i have an 03 evo viii w/ turbo back and boost controler w/ NO tune ( so i still wasnt as fast as a 9) and i beat him.

Man I knew it. He sounded all confident too, like it would be no big deal. He thinks the VIII and the IX are the same car too, so I guess he's just a cocky retard with a slow VW

wow... my friend owns a stock r32. hes driven the evo, and weve raced em. We both agree my stock IX just rapes it in terms of raw acceleration from a dig.

I raced a R32 with my MKV GTI(daily driver to and from work), the R32 only manage to put like less than 2 cars on me. (200hp vs 240hp). The Evo is way faster than the R32... nothing to worry about. Race that guy and shut him up!

He also wanted to race from a low mph roll (20-30) and a high mph roll (60-70), at a track of course. Would either scenario be an issue?

Why would he want to race from a roll? He puts a lot less power to all 4 wheels than you do and has no significant weight advantage. Not sure why an AWD car would want to go from a roll, but hey...he doesn't seem too bright.

The whole thread is stupid, because even a stock 03 VIII would kill that thing. They are decent and are AWD, so a good driver in the R32 could beat a bad driver in the 03 VIII, but put the same driver in both, and the Evo wins by about half a second. Now, when you start talking about IXs, it gets even more ridiculous.

Ive raced 3 r32 stock and modded beat them all very very easily. In the 1/8 mile I beat them by a whole second. They usually run around 9's at qualcomm. That should give you an idea.

At the same time S4's are rated at 14.1 and R32's at 14.3 and i kill my buddies S4 from a stop, but he kills me by like 5 cars from a 60 mph roll. So it's something to think about, but you'll still kill the R32, i do even from a roll.
