You have an intake and no tune! I could only imagine what a tune would do for you, your personal life, and your times

wow your 60ft really sux, more practice will help you out.. you should be like a 1.6 60ft , your trap speed is really high for that run so... there is alot more left that is easliy a 12 sec run with practice..

shifting down the track has little to do with your times.. you 60ft is where u make or break your run..

yea my frind said i was moving at the end. well it was fun. but a 1.6 dam i must need aloooooooooooooooot of practice. but can that be done on stock cluch? it dont seem to hold up to well unless i let it slip a tad to long.

spell check...

But for a first timer, not bad.

Yes you should be launching higher up, search for launching techs. But 5k-5.6k is a good place to start.

Be sure to shift at about 7100 rpm - since you do not have cams you are out of the turbos power band by then.

Practice, practice, practice -- thats how to get faster. But if you are nervous at the line. Try listening to a fav. song when you are waiting in line -- loud. (I like Queens of the Stone Age or Korn...) Close your eyes and think about what you are going to do. Visualize the tree, lights counting down, launching, and shifting - whole run. Then get up there and do it.

yes a 1.6 can be down with stock clutch.. and yes it does slip alot. that is the factory clutch line i believe that makes ur clutch slip so you dont ruin your transfer case and tranny.. but yeah just practice and you will get there... but 2.0 is high for awd.. honda fwd car doing that on drag radials.

i really think a 2step will help me cause i was all messed up trying to hold the rpm's at a single point and then the gas with a lil slip while flooring the gas. i dont know. i think a 2step will help because it is less ill have to think about. but yes it was fun and il be doing it again very soon.

yea i know the 60' is high. but it felt like a 1.1 lmao. i guess all i can do is practice and do my best.

so since the stock c/l makes it slip a lil bit more do you think i should do more of a dump then a slip. but not fully dump it.
