Honestly, when you are first learning to drive the car, pay very little attention to the R/T. Concentrate on the 60fts more than anything.

The base 60ft you should be shooting for is 1.800sec. Anything less than that is room for improvement. Good job though if this is your first time out.

Not bad for your first time out. As everyone already stated though, was improve those 60s and you'll improve your times.

I see you have a flash. Does it have the 2 step rev limiter for 6050 rpm's? If so just launch off that. Let the clutch out just a little until you can almost feel the driveline catch then slip it all the way out quickly. Lower the psi in your tires as well. with that twin disk you should be pulling 1.6 60ft times.

I just bought the Comp 280s and the idle sucks but I deal with it. I do 40-100mph runs and I lost nearly a second off the times I went with my HKS 272s with a mail-in flash so I suggest another tune.

People conplain about the idle on 272s, Comp 280s make cammed V-8 owners jealous. If I can ever get around to getting my EMS hooked up, my idle and already terrible acceleration should be fixed, I hope.

Please don't bother with Manassas. It's a terrible track that doesn't time properly. 1/8th mile is worthless anyway. Go to Capitol, Mason Dixon, or MIR to get some real times. We (DC Evos) tried going there 2 times, but we never went back after that due to how crappy it is. I drove the ever-living crap out of my car there, but I could never drop below 8.0 in the 1/8th, and I could never get above 84mph due to 3rd gear running out right near the end of the track.

I went to Capitol right after that and immediately ran 7s in the 1/4 with low 12s.

Warrtalon is right, Manassas does suck. You should just run at Capitol or MIR. MIR is a great track. If you get there early on a Friday you can get about 6 runs in usually.

You will be really happy once you get cams for your car. I have the Comp 280's and are pretty satisfied. You will run low 12's for sure once you get your launch down.

You got out of the 2.0s and into the 1.8s, so you improved all night.
