By the way, this guy stole at least one of his myspace pics from the Chargespeed website

Here is the myspace pic:

It's the 3rd one over in the top row here:

Funny thing is that he wasn't cool enough to steal the high res pic:

Yup... I noticed that, but forgot to comment on it. Thanks for catching my mistake.

he could go rb26 but still its iffy altho its a lighter frame than the skyline, not to mention twin turbo, it'd still have to be bored, stroked, honed, etc to get in numbers of 900 or so. plus he'd have to be running like c12 or c20 gas, and have full race parts, engine internals, and boost cranked up.

Exactly, but this guy is saying hes making 900 with an SR20DET. Theres only one or two making close to those numbers and one i know of is the HKS drag 180SX. Like i said 500 is possible even on the stock block (theres a guy around here that was making 550 on stock internals and just a MAJORLY ported and polished head and a fairly large turbo. I wanna say around a 60 trim), but 900 is next to impossible on the SR20.

Too me he looks as if he is concerned with external mods!!! I know a guy here in MD that had a 240 with 400+ hp.....I mean it was fast but I never found out if he ran it at the track. OH that's right, he wouldn't run at the track said the car was only for street races...
now i know why. All the hype is in the talk!

Thumbs down

There are 3 9 secod 240 i know of.
One is Mark 240.His setup is Sleeved SR + T88 + 150 shot.He run 9.2.
Second is Dui 240SX.His setup is 2JZGTE with Cam + 74 mm turbo + nitrous. He use TH350.I don't follow his car after he hit low 9.He have serious traction problem.
Third is AMS/Turbo 240 240.His setup is Auto + KA2DE-T + GT42R + 150 shot spoolup.He run 9.7.Heck,even 400whp car require profressional to drift.
How he spool up a GT42R??LS1 or 200 shot of nitrous. All of these SIlvia is definetly not own by him.

Im not saying its impossible. Im just saying its really hard and requires alot of money. Any person that owns their average tuning shop isnt going to make enough money to build a 900 hp SR20DET (like this guy claims he does).

C'mon, be for real.

If the bloke make that much HP, he'll be in some mag or running Nopi drag events. There aren't enough drifting competition to make real money w/o sponsorship. Otherwise, it's all advertisement to float his ego and get mad props for his street creds.

At worse, call him out on "Pinks" or whatever that show.

Thats what im sayin! Someone needs to call him out and challenge him. Find someone that has a decently modded evo (or other fast car). If hes got a 900 or even a 500 hp 240 he should be able to blow them away. If he starts complaining about traction problems and other crap with the car ask him how he ran a 9 then!

Hell, if someone wants to challenge him on the track or w.e Ill definately be sure to let the guy know or he even has a myspace. He lives in P.a by me. Down by Wilkes Barre if anyone is familiar with that. If I had an Evo Id call him out to the track, unfortunately i wont have an evo viii till this early april. Goin for an 03 or 04 bc i want the ic sprayer and itll prob be around how much i want to spend. So unless someone calls him out i wont be able to until spring time, only prob is, if he really does have a 900 hp 240, the evo wotn be modded that im gettin, I want it stock so it still has a warranty and i can do my own stuff to it. Oh well
