13.4 @99.5 is this good for first time?

ok so yester day me and some of my friends went to the track and i ran a 13.6 and a 13.4

i was launching at 5500-6000. on some Kumo Extacs (sp?) SPT so they are kinda all season/ sport tires.

i dont remember everything but
60ft was 1.75
1/4 13.4 @99.5Mph

i have a 03 mods are, TBE with a resinated TP, MBC, and LICP

in fist i was spinning the tires

The driving is good, but I think your traps are a bit low...

Boost leak perhaps?

Not trying to be a dick but not really. Your '60 is actually pretty good for your first time but the E.T. and trap is bad for your mods and '60. The ET could be attributed to slow shifting but your low trap makes it seem like something is wrong with the car. Do you have a tune or MBC? If not that is probably your problem.

no tune just a MBC. it spikes 20 and falls to 16-17 by red line.

oh this is on 91 gas

Well its alittle low but not bad for not having a tune. Get tuned and it will make a huge difference.

16 or 17psi at redline?...is that normal for stock? ...doubt it...plus u have a mbc

Stock spikes at just under 20 and tapers to 16 or so.

i thought a MBC was supposed to keep your boost from spiking and falling... and whats the point of the boost controller if your running stock boost?

this is true...he should be holding at least 18 w/ the pills out and a mbc

Yeah Im not sure why its dropping so much. Could be a leak somewhere or the gauge is off.

I know my friends srt-4 boost controller just didnt work.... the entire time we had the car no matter what he adjusted it never effected the boost. it wasnt properly installed... you might have the same problem.... who knows
