Who was that slow black Evo in the right lane? The one who's 2nd gear popped out of gear? LOL, glad I could give you the motivation to get out of the hole...

Sounds like I need to hook up with Jestr.

I ran a 12.77@112 with a 1.83 60'....and Chino runs a 11.9@113. Weird...

I've got nearly the same mods as Chino on my 8:

3" TBE
Injen CAI/UICP
Greddy EBC at 22psi
RRE "X-clutch"
SAFC-II

My personal best ET is 12.61@108

I've ran high 1.6's and low 1.7's consistantly with my old wearbar showing tires, and I just got new tires put on last week...and I ran high 1.7's/low 1.8s all day. Couldn't figure that one out to save my life...how my 60's get worse with new tires...hmmmm...

I've got a 3" o2, a Megan Racing exhaust manifold sitting in my garage waiting on a 10.5 hotside so I can go all out in the exhaust department. I'm also eyeing a test pipe, because the TBE system I have has a hi-flo cat.

I'm sure between me, Chino, and Jestr, we'll get this figured out.

rusty we need to get that o2 housing on there with that megan exhaust manifold along with that hotside, then hit Jestr up for an EFlash...

on a side note, im not so sure that SAFC is helpin you out much, anyone can butt in and correct me if im wrong. basically if you get a tune from Jestr that SAFC is gonna fight against the tune. specifically your fuel table.

research it as much as possible that way we can figure it out and get you tuned up good soon along with those parts. you'll be running some good times buddy.

i would contact jestr and ask him about the SAFC, hes a tuner, he must know.

Well, if it's true that I don't need the SAFC, then that's some more $$$ for mods! LOL

That was a real good run Chino! Not missing the STi too much I take it? These cars as just so much more fun. Rusty: IMO you need to buy a big turbo, tune it and problem solved. I have a buddy here with an VIII that never could get it to run good w/ the stock turbo. He changed it and the car is insanely fast! He also has a stroker motor though. Good luck. I'll see you guys around.
