Great run....Nice to see a true full weight evo pulling those kind of times, alot of guys running those times, have their car stripped, of its interior. Whats that metal to metal sound everytime you shift? It sounds Similar to the sound Dan car makes when he shifts his Evo? Are you running Shep dogbox?

"Well" I try to stripped the must weight out off the car,but always kept in mind that I was going to drive it in the streets!
Right now, i am using T.R.E. stock tranny Upgrade and TC ,is working excellent but i've used Shephard Trannys and they also work excellent

So its normal for the T.R.E tranny to be noisy like that? Is this the same tranny Dan is using in his Evo? Or is he using the shep dogbox?
Its really impressive if your running a massaged, stock box, and transfercase, and its putting up with those kind of launches, and power.

I dont know which noise you are referring, but what am saying is that my tranny and tranfercase at this moment are done by T.R.E.

Well thats amazing to know, that a rebuilt stock tranny & transfercase, can handle that kind of abuse. Do you have to rebuild it every X amount of miles, if you continue to drag race the car?

I know its difficult for you to recognize the sound im talking about, its not as clear in your on-board run, you should easily recognize it, in this video of Dan's on-board run http://media.ams-evo8.com/videos/dbajalis/Dan933.wmv

its probably the rev limiter the aem sounds like that if you touch on it while you are shifting i don't think he is using the aem but you get the point.
