I warm up the tires before each run. I also drop the pressure to 25 in the front and 28 in the back since the front spins more. The rest I guess is knowing how to launch it. Last night I actually got 1.6s all night nothing in the 1.7 range.

 

I would think with Meth you would be about 4 MPH faster. What year evo do you have? Congrats on the 11's, your faster than me LOL.

Well I am only trapping 114 maybe 115 if i inflate the tires more. I have an 03 Evo, I am beginning to think that it's a dog.

I am using 93oct+meth

Cool, I'am hoping to hit high 11sec as well on 109 octane, 29psi, flash 20g turbo, other mods are the same as yours.

 

Yeah, I know the feeling of having a bad clutch. Once you get that new clutch you will feel like a milion bucks. hahahah

 

With a 20g and 29psi, you should def be in the mid 11s.

 

Yeah i warm mine up good. I think its just the tires i have. Best i have done is a 1.706. Plus the track down here isnt prep the best possible. Congrats though man! Get some Video next time.

Actually I live all the way down in Palm beach which is about 4 hours or more away from Pensecola.

I do have vids, it's just that the guy who taped me can't find his cords for the camera to plug it up to the computer. I will post them up if he can get them on there.

He told me that anything under 14.0 is required a helmet. Anything under 12.0 is required to have a helmet, jacket, and metal valve stem covers for the tires. He also suggested to have to roll bars.

He was explaining to me about a roll cage but I had no idea what he was talking about. He said something in the 9s u need a roll cage. I could be wrong though.

 

I'm starting to go out there more often now. I will probably be there every wednesday or every other wednesday.
